Spring is a lovely time in Maine and where else to enjoy it than in the Camden Maine Stay Inn’s garden. Our perennials have pushed up through the ground and spots of purple and pink are blooming, while the ferns and other plants are beginning to green up and bud. Our garden spreads over an acre by the side of our house. We have walking paths and sitting areas — perfect for relaxing with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and a good book or enjoying lively conversations.
Meanwhile, the Town of Camden is gearing up for the annual Camden is Blooming festival. The event begins on Friday, May 11, and continues through Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 13. The Camden Garden Club will hold a plant sale, the Farmer’s Market will open on Saturday, and there will be sidewalk sales, children’s activities and free schooner cruises. At night the Camden Opera House will have performances. You can check out the full three day schedule here.
The Camden Maine Stay Inn still has room availability for the weekend of May 11 through May 13. This would be a great time to book your stay in our Dogwood room and enjoy the view of our beautiful Dogwood trees right outside your window! You can also enjoy our garden from your private patio when staying in the Carriage House room or from the bedroom in our Mayflower suite. Please book through our web site — www.camdenmainestay.com — or call us directly at (207) 236-9636. We love talking to our guests!
