Harpers Bazaar and Vacations magazine both chose the Carriage House as their favorite Maine Stay Inn guestroom. Right on the garden, downstairs from the ground floor, in the back of the house this large room has a queen bed, private bathroom with a walk-in shower, lots of books, a Vermont Castings stove and a French door which opens onto a quaint stone patio tucked in between the room and the barn. A small TV is on a side. This is a lovely, private romantic bedchamber. Air-conditioned. Complimentary Wi-Fi in this room and throughout the Inn. Rates $160 to $260.
