Maine is known for its agricultural fairs, which celebrate harvest and mark the beginning of our long winters. One of the most popular is the Common Ground Fair, which is sponsored by the Maine Organic Farmers Association. Our Common Ground Room incorporates this theme displaying posters from past fairs. A high beamed ceiling, Vermont Castings stove and Maine Cottage furniture make a very cozy room. The room has a queen bed, a sitting area with a couch, armchair and a TV with a DVD player. French doors open to a private terrace, with a sitting area outside, that overlooks the garden. The room has an in-suite bathroom with shower and soaking tub. Air-conditioned. Complimentary Wi-Fi in this room and throughout the Inn. Rates $165 to $270. The rates include a full breakfast in the morning.
