Enter the comfortable sitting room with its warm, inviting gas fireplace and TV, and then the bedchamber, which has queen brass bed and modern private bath. Some of the floor boards in this room are over 16 inches wide. The sitting room looks toward historic High Street, while the bedroom overlooks the garden. Named for the first American Topper who emigrated from Germany in 1747 and established a homestead near Gettysburg, PA. One hundred and eighty years later, Bob's branch settled in central Connecticut, and developed the Topper cigar business. Look in the sitting room cabinets and you will find memorabilla from the Topper hand-made cigar factory. In-Season $240 weekdays $250 weekends Quiet Season $165 weekdays $175 weekends   |
